MOLLY BLOOM: Now entering Brains On headquarters.
[MECHANICAL SOUNDS]
QUINN: Hi, Molly. Hey, snazzy outfit.
MOLLY BLOOM: Oh, my goodness. It's my co-host, Quinn. Thank you so much for the complement. This is my special sparkly suit that I only wear when I become Game Show Molly, this time, with a theme song.

QUINN: Ooh, I love this.
MOLLY BLOOM: Thanks. It's my alter ego. Today, we're going to play an extra special game show all about nature's bloodsucking creatures. It's called Feast or Flee.
QUINN: It sounds horrifying.
MOLLY BLOOM: I know. It's so exciting. In this game, I'll set up a short poem for you, and you'll have to finish the last line with the correct word. For example, playing this character makes me jolly. My alter ego's name is Game Show--
QUINN: Molly.
[TRILLING SOUND]
MOLLY BLOOM: That's right. Now, let's start with our first fact. Flying to and fro, their tiny bodies are so neato. If they bite you, it might itch. It's none other than--
QUINN: The mosquito.
[TRILLING SOUND]
MOLLY BLOOM: You got it. Yes. Don't forget the bug spray. Mosquitoes have a long part of their mouth that extends way out called a proboscis.
When they bite you, they pierce your skin with this part of their body, suck your blood, and secrete their saliva into your bloodstream, cool, but itchy. Are you ready for another?
QUINN: Sure. I can't wait to find out about more things that drink my blood.
MOLLY BLOOM: OK. Here we go. Take heed to watch your feet if you're at a freshwater beach. It breathes through its skin. It's the small, slippery--
QUINN: Ooh-- leech.
[TRILLING SOUND]
MOLLY BLOOM: Yes. So good. Did you know that leeches have a pouch in their digestive system that allows them to store food for several months? And leeches release a special chemical when they bite you so the area is numbed and you don't even know it's happening.
QUINN: Wow.
MOLLY BLOOM: OK. Let's do one more.
QUINN: Are you sure you want to?
MOLLY BLOOM: Here we go. These pests can live for months without blood, food, or hugs. Make sure you check your hotel sheets so you don't get--
QUINN: Bedbugs.
[TRILLING SOUND]
MOLLY BLOOM: So good. You got three for three. Bedbugs are super sneaky. They hide during the day in the tiniest spots around beds and come out at night when they detect the carbon dioxide we exhale when we're sleeping.
QUINN: I'll remember that next time I'm sleeping and every minute of every day for the rest of my life.
MOLLY BLOOM: [LAUGHS].
